“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28 NASB)
I heard someone say the other day, in their summary of life, “It’s always something. If it is not one storm, it is another.” I thought about it and wrote the following composition, “This Storm Called Life.”
It burst out of the womb, unaffected and unfazed by the surrounding pain. It continues through its appointed days and at times it is a torrential rain. “This storm called life.”
Day after day we have conquered it, regardless of which direction from whence it is heading or from where it may come. With faith we hang in there waiting patiently for its variety of happenings to be done. “This storm called life.”
Thankful for the Help that sees us through. Over and over His aide gives us a positive view. It will not always be night. It will be all right. “This storm called life.”
Our outlook never changes, our hope is solidified, and our confidence remains sure. We laugh everyday knowing this storm is just passing over. “This storm called life.”
There is before us an eternity, a time undefined and void of an end, a time where rain exist no more; not a shower, not even a mist or a touch of dew. So storm, regardless of your veracity, I speak to you, with loud sounds of victory, rejoicing each day we are blessed to go through. “This storm called life.”
For there is a day when not one tear from our eyes will pour. That is if you made your way to Jesus and entered by the Door. “This storm called life.”
Good morning! Start your week facing the storm called life. Endure, enjoy, and expect all will work out for good. Be blessed!
“I am the door; if anyone enter through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out and find pasture.” (John 10:9 NASB)
Still committed to the climb,
