“YOU EARNED THIS ONE!”

“It happened that while Jesus was praying in a certain place, when He had finished, one of His disciples said to Him, ‘Lord, teach us to pray, just as John also taught his disciples.’” (Luke 11:1 NASB)

Monday’s meditation was not so short, even though it was supposed to be your “Monday Short.”  Tuesday’s meditation was long, for some.  But I’m thankful and appreciative that you hung in there and read them!  So, as somewhat of a reward, today’s meditation is brief in length, but it will go a long way.  You will see what I mean in less than a minute.  I figure that you earned this one.

In the verse above, it says, “Jesus finished praying.”  I know you will pray all day, but did you finish praying today?  Skip ahead to the closing verse and come back quickly to the question that follows this sentence.  Do you realize that “when you pray” suggests that you in fact do pray, as well as suggesting you pray regularly?  There is a “when” in every day we are blessed to see.  As a matter of fact, there are many of them!  Have a great Wednesday!  Pray some more!  Be blessed!

“And He said to them, ‘When you pray, say….’” (Luke 11:2 NASB)

Still committed to the climb,
