“This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (I John 1:5-7 NASB)
Here is your “Monday Short” meditation. Usually, the song, “What A Fellowship” is sung at the end of a church service, especially when congregations are dismissed after observing the Lord’s Supper. However today, I want you to take meditate on the passage above and remember this one point of emphasis: “Our fellowship is with the Lord.” What a fellowship! As you leave today, wherever your steps lead you, walk in the light as He Himself is light. Avoid darkness. Practice the truth! Reap the benefits of your fellowship with Him! What a fellowship! Be blessed!
