“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in faith so that you overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13 Common English Bible)
I was listening to classical music on the radio recently and heard a sonata that used the word “Giocosa.” This is an Italian word. The Spanish words is “juguetona.” In English, the word refers to being happy, merry, lively, and joyful. Are you saying, “So what?” Well, let me respond just in case you were wondering why I am giving multi-linguistic lessons.
What I am attempting to do is prepare you for at the start of this day is to be do your own a self-composed sonata, a masterpiece that will have a positive effect on others. As you enter the workplace, let your personality play a magnificent work called “Giocosa!” You be the one who brings joy into your interaction! “Giocosa!” You be the one who is happy, allowing your blessed state to be heard, even if you do not speak a word, resonating a concerto of energy! “Giocosa!” You be the one who is lively, something that should be easy to do since Christ lives in you! “Giocosa!”
At the end of the day, when many are tired and yearning for rest, and perhaps even mad or sad, make them feel better, lift them up by your merry, melodious notes that form a happy song! “Giocosa!”
When others are complaining about this or that, you use the sonata in your heart that transitions from a behavioral standing out to a bold, praiseworthy statement: “Rejoice! I’m blessed! And so are you! We are still here! The Lord is still watching over us! The Lord is still providing for us! The Lord compassion never fails! Again, I say, ‘rejoice,’ for He has blessed us with purpose and that’s why we are still here!”
The word for the day, the theme to start your weekend is “Giocosa!” Get on your way to a fantastic Friday! Be blessed!
“Applause, everyone. Bravo, bravissimo! Shout God-songs at the top of your lungs!” (Psalm 47:1 MSG)
Still committed to the climb,
