“Suddenly two men dressed in white clothes were standing there beside them. They said, “Why are you men from Galilee standing here and looking up into the sky?” (Acts 1:10-11 Contemporary English Version)
In response to Wednesday’s meditation, one faithful reader whom I have known since childhood, shared a prayer, so powerful that you would think you were in her presence as she approached the throne of God. Following her prayer, she expressed with these words, “This meditation is strength as we keep our minds focused on both the first and second advent, as well as the work we have to fulfill in the meantime.”
My response was “Amen and amen! That’s a meditation in itself! So, my friends I am sharing her words with you. As a result, our “meantime” ought to be better today, and each and every day that follows! Have a great Thursday! Be blessed!
“We need to be energetically at work for the One who sent me here, working while the sun shines. When night falls, the workday is over.” (John 9:4 The Message Bible)
