“Call on Me in the day of trouble; I will rescue you, and you shall honor and glorify Me.” (Psalm 50:15 The Amplified Bible)
I sat down to write this morning, just as I have done daily, going into the sixth year. Praise God! Often, I don’t know what I am going to write about until the Lord brings something to my attention. Today, I looked at one of the pop-up advertisements on the right side of my computer screen and there was an advertisement about “Urgent Care 24 Hours.” I did not read about the facility, but I instantly thought about Father God. I did not search through the ad, looking for details, but I sensed a divine dictate to emphasize that we can go to God in prayer for perfect, precise, and personal, urgent care, knowing that the Lord cares for us. He cares for you, and He cares for me. Praise God!
Yes! We can call on Him anytime; morning, noon day or night, seeking and finding urgent care! Praise God again! You know how the song goes, “He’ll be there! He’ll be there! There’s no need to worry, cause God really cares!” If you are not too tired of giving God the glory this Thursday morning, praise Him one more time!
Now, just in case the lyrics above did not sound familiar to you, I get it. Many churches have abandoned those old gospel hymns. So, in view of that possibility, and in case I did not ring a resounding bell of memory by referring to an old hymn, let me supplement today’s Scriptures with an expanded excerpt from “God Never Fails,” assuring you that no matter what is going on in your life, you can call on the Lord for urgent care anytime, anywhere, and in regard to anything.
GOD NEVER FAILS, GOD NEVER FAILS
HE ABIDES WITH ME
HE GIVES ME VICTORY
FOR GOD NEVER FAILS
YOU JUST KEEP THE FAITH
AND NEVER CEASE TO PRAY
WALK UPRIGHT, CALL HIM DAY, NOON OR NIGHT
HE’LL BE THERE
HE’LL BE THERE
THERE’S NO NEED TO WORRY
FOR GOD NEVER FAILS
Didn’t that make you feel better this Thursday morning? Didn’t that lift your spirit! Didn’t you feel glad, being reminded that you have 24-hour access every single day to urgent care from an unparalleled place in Heaven above, a place where One sits on the throne and specializes? I know I felt glad! Have a great day my friend! Praise God one more time, alright? I’ve heard you say, “Praise is What I Do,” so look to heaven and praise God like you mean it, no matter where you are at this very moment physically, emotionally, or spiritually! Don’t focus on worrying but focus on praising and praying! Be blessed!
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT)
Still committed to the climb,
