“For freedom Christ freed us. Stand fast therefore and do not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” (Galatians 5:1 Modern English Version)
Rev. Milton Brunson expressed it this way in his lyrics: “I’m free. Praise the Lord, I’m free. No longer bound. No more chains holding me. My soul is resting. It’s just a blessing. Praise the Lord, hallelujah, I’m free.”
I don’t have any lyrics that I composed this morning, but I do have one single expressed word for you today: “Live like you have been set free!” How can you avoid living like you are still in bondage? Simply put, depend on the truth in God’s word, and definitely depend on Jesus, the way, the truth, and the life.” Have a fantastic Friday! Be blessed!
“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” “But we are descendants of Abraham,” they said. “We have never been slaves to anyone. What do you mean, ‘You will be set free’?” Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin. A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son is part of the family forever. So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.” (John 8:32-36 NLT)
Still committed to the climb,
