“Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment.” (Matthew 22:37-38 New King James Version)
If you have ever sang, “I Really Love the Lord,” or “I Love the Lord, He Heard my Cry,” or you have expressed you love for God in some other form or fashion, and even if you have just thought of your love for God, what I am about to say is specifically for you. Are you ready? Good!
If you love the Lord with all your hearts, He can get to your head, and you will purpose to do good things. If you love the Lord with all your hearts, He can get to your hands and you will do godly work. If you love the Lord with all your heart, He can get some of your hours and you can use them in such a way that you give Hi the glory.
If you love the Lord with all your heart, He can get your house in order, largely through how you act and react. If you love the Lord with all your heart, you will get the vertical right, and you will be empowered to get the horizontal right, referring to your relationship with others.
If you love the Lord with all your hear, He will see you seeking ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and as a benefit, you won’t have to worry about food, clothing, and shelter.
If you love the Lord with all your heart, wrongdoings will be laid aside and righteous doings will take their place. If you love the Lord with all your heart, you will continuously go forward, upward, and not backward and downward. If you love the Lord with all your heart, there will be no slacking off in working to fulfill His desire that His house is filled. If you love the Lord with all your heart, in totality, with all your soul and all your mind, you will experience “better” in more than one area of your life.
Start your Wednesday, conscious and committed to loving the Lord with all your heart and throughout life! Your age does not make a difference! Your generational grouping does not make a difference! Neither does your economic status or your national origin! Go out singing or saying the words below, because I know that you really love the Lord! Be blessed!
“I really love the Lord. I really love the Lord. See you don’t know what he’s done for me. He gave me the victory.
