WHAT ADEQUATE THANKS CAN WE OFFER?

“For what [adequate] thanks can we offer to God for you in return for all the joy and delight we have before our God on your account?” (I John 1:9 NASB)

Like everybody else, I am in a thanksgiving mood, more so than ever this week. The focus on the “Thanksgiving holiday” makes every believer, at least it should, increase their thanks for others, thanks for the many opportunities that the Lord has given us to bless others, and of course, for all that the Lord has done for us, all the blessings that are too numerous to count.  Isn’t God good?  Isn’t’ He worthy of an outpouring of thanksgiving from our lips?  We say, “All the time God is good,” We should add an addendum that places no boundaries on our thanksgiving, “All the time His people are thankful.”

This morning, I want to thank you for being a faithful reader of these daily meditations that the Lord has blessed me to composed and circulate via email and the Mark Writes blog daily, since 2017.  Thank you for reading them and even more so for your responding to them appropriately in action and acquiring each day, an increased level of God-consciousness and Christ-centeredness.

None of this would have been possible without the help of the Lord!  He is the catalyst behind every daily communication I send out or post, as well as the catalyst for the positive changes that have occurred in our lives. So, do not wait until Thursday to thank Him! Do not thank me!  Thank Him! And thank Him right now!

Sunday, our church choir started service by singing, “Every Day Is A Day of Thanksgiving.”  That is so true! Well, today is one of those “Every day” days.

Again, I thank you for joining me on this “climb” on a daily basis or as often as you can. Sustain the momentum   Love you!  Be blessed!

We always pray for you, and we give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Colossians 1:3 NLT)

Committed to the climb,

Mark L. King
