“Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.” (Proverbs 13: 20 NIV)
Beginning with the so-called “Monday Short” meditation, I have been a little wordy this week, but hopefully you found the content worthwhile. Today, I am going to really be concise, but the conciseness is not without wise counsel. You probably don’t need it, so perhaps in that case, the intent is to equip you to influence someone else. Here’s are two holiday season tips: (1) In all the merriment, among all the mixed crowds that consist of believers and unbelievers, holy ones and hypocritical ones, and in the midst of holiday parties with friends, home office parties, and hosted events, choose to be the influencer and not the influenced. Be a real friend! (2) Choose your company wisely, even in diverse crowds made of the faithful and unfaithful, the lost and the found. Read the verses above and below at least twice. Be blessed!
“As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” (Proverbs 27:17 NLT)
