“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6 NASB)
Yesterday, in an unsolicited email, I received a message that had the following “Quote of the Day:” “Change is the end result of all true learning.” For you and me, “true learning” does not take place necessarily in the classroom, conference room used for corporate training, on corners where street wise people converse as if they were those gathered in the Bible on Mars Hill, or in your coveted barbershop of beauty salon. For us, “true learning” happens in the corner of the room where you seclude yourself to study God’s word. If you are like me, every time that you find myself in seclusion, spending time in the Scriptures, you come out profoundly changed, certainly made better, and committed to climbing up higher as it relates to sanctification. Change takes place! David in a few of the Psalm committed to a life of faith in God, and we surely know that Jesus is the ultimate example of a life of faith to the Father. For He was obedient, even to the point of death on the cross. Still looking at Jesus, the One who changed man’s destiny, giving us a chance to be saved by grace through faith, He did not stop pursuing positive change, granted for others, until He uttered these words, ending his earth tour of duty in the flesh, on the cross, “It is finished.”
Keep that in mind, my friend, through the grace of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit withing you, you have changed! Praise God! But acknowledge this truth on your sanctification journey: When it comes to change, changing is not over. Hence, keep pursuing true learning by staying in the word! Once again, I say to you, “You have changed already, but the changing is not over.” Press on! Keep studying the word! Keep praying that the Spirit will guide you to higher heights of understanding! Keep finding that the word of God is profitable, just as it states in the Scriptures! Keep experiencing change! Keep climbing…committed to living your faith in the Lord and completing your purpose! Keep sustaining the momentum, daily! Have a changing experience today! Be blessed!
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV)
Committed to the climb,
