“Now is the time to relocate from burdens to “better,” from hopeless to hope, from our entrapments to the freedom that is ahead, from where we reside in our mindset now, to a place where relief, hope, joy, and victory resonate loudly.” (Mark L. King Quote)
Since we did not have a Monday Short meditation yesterday, I will try to be brief today. I may not say it all, but when all is done, you can add to what I am about to say as you stop and think about the central theme of this short message.
What if we replaced the term “Going through…” with “Going to”…?” If we did, we would probably have a proper and better perspective about right-now happenings in our lives at this present time. For instance, instead of going through, replace that with “I’m going to that stage where the Lord grants me peace beyond comprehension.” In place of going through, put “I’m going to that place in my unfolding, personal story, where I will realize that God meant it all for good.” How about a few more, and then I will leave you with the charge of thinking about some additional examples, some “Going to…” opportunities that specifically speak to you.
Here are a few more, “I’m going to that understanding of what the writer said in the Bible. You know, the place in Ecclesiastes where the writer said, “There is a time for everything.” “I’m going to that next step on the staircase of life, no matter how steep it may be, and I will do so with confidence because the Lord is on my side.” “I’m going to a troubling time, with optimism on my mine, because trouble does not last always.” “I’m going to the state of mind that is like that of the three Hebrew boys who were being thrown into the fiery furnace. You know how they expressed their confidence in God, “He’s able.” I’m done. Now, you add to my examples.
Just a thought this morning, my friends. What if we replaced the terms “Going through…” to “Going to…?” As you are going to walk with God, hold on to His unchanging hands, and marvel in the magnificent ways He has already moved in your life. Have a terrific, triumphant, going to Tuesday! Be blessed!
“…but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace [the spiritual well-being that comes from walking with God—both now and forever] …” (Roman’s 8:6b The Amplified Bible)
Committed to the climb,
