“Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. (Matthew 25:13 King James Version)
I got one response from someone who has grown tired of receiving these daily meditations. The reader said, “I hear you! I get it! But I’m not ready. Perhaps I will be in the future. Please remove me from your email list.” Oh, my!
Undoubtedly, you have probably heard that response or a similar reply, retort from people you have really been witnessing to, trying to win them for Christ, and work on their need for salvation from the penalty and/or the power of sin they are facing.
Pass on this meditation to those individuals you are in contact who are like the reader above and let this serve as a reply to their lack of readiness. The scriptures above and below should reaffirm your efforts. Especially focus on the fact that the Master, Jesus is coming back. This was your Monday Short meditation. Be blessed.
“Keep your shirts on; keep the lights on! Be like house servants waiting for their master to come back from his honeymoon, awake and ready to open the door when he arrives and knocks. Lucky the servants whom the master finds on watch! He’ll put on an apron, sit them at the table, and serve them a meal, sharing his wedding feast with them. It doesn’t matter what time of the night he arrives; they’re awake—and so blessed!” (Luke 12:35-38 The Message Bible)
Committed to the climb,
