THE WALLS SPEAK ONCE AGAIN!

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1 King James Version)

Once again, my walls “spoke” to me, providing some inspiration and appreciation for the continuing presence of God in my life and yours too, fellow believer.

How did the wall “speak?” I went into the guest bathroom, just doing a room check since we hardly ever used the downstairs rooms. They are pretty much reserved for houseguests, primarily family. A petite, rectangular, really well-designed plaque, no bigger than three inches in width and four inches in length called out for my attention. This is what it said, “Nature’s astonishing design opens your eyes to the presence of God.”  The walls words led me to think of how we just look outside our windows just to see whether the sun is shining or there are clouds in the sky, whether the climate is wet or dry, or whether it is snowing and the wind blowing. Oh, we might look at creatures that run in front of our car, and we definitely, especially pay attention to the geese that spread their wings and soar over our driveways. However, many times we neglect to let nature remind us of our Creator and His presence, visible just by looking clearly and deeply at the heavens and the earth. Yet, at times, if we perchance to let nature’s astonishing design open our eyes to the presence of God, our day gets oh so much better. What a mighty God we serve. (Note: An excited, exceeding glad “Amen” goes right here!)

Now, before you start your Wednesday routine, read what God Himself said in a dialogue with Job. Afterwards, take a look outside and be just as inspired as I was when one of my walls “spoke” to me again. Be blessed!

“Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much. Who determined its dimensions and stretched out the surveying line? What supports its foundations, and who laid its cornerstone as the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy? “Who kept the sea inside its boundaries as it burst from the womb, and as I clothed it with clouds and wrapped it in thick darkness? For I locked it behind barred gates, limiting its shores. I said, ‘This far and no farther will you come. Here your proud waves must stop! “Have you ever commanded the morning to appear and caused the dawn to rise in the east?” (Job 38 4-12 King James Version)
