“…a right time to shut up and another to speak up…” (Ecclesiastes 3:7 The Message Bible)
Monday morning, I was forwarded a social media post written by Jordan Riley. The sender, my big brother, also a fellow theologian, felt that this specific post had “meditation topic potential.” I agreed. While I have addressed this topic before, now I will share with you what Mr. Riley had to say. It is worth sharing. “If you go to a store or a restaurant to feed yourself physically, there is no reason you can’t go to CHURCH to feed yourself spiritually.”
If you agree, say, “Amen!” If you agree, let your attendance at CHURCH speak for you! Be blessed!
“One day spent in your house, this beautiful place of worship, beats thousands spent on Greek island beaches. I’d rather scrub floors in the house of my God than be honored as a guest in the palace of sin. All sunshine and sovereign is God, generous in gifts and glory. He doesn’t scrimp with his traveling companions. It’s smooth sailing all the way with God-of-the-Angel-Armies.!” (Psalm 84:10-12 The Message Bible)
Committed to the climb,
