The “C” in the title it not slang, not a clever abbreviation with no meaning, and not intended to confuse you. Conversely, hopefully, the title intrigued you and inclined you to make it a point to keep reading.
What I am about to write is not limited to the holiday season where we hurry around, busy prepping, preparing for people gatherings and plenty of good times. No, what I am about to write pertains to making you way through whatever “it” is that is in your way, keeping you from getting to Jesus. Your “it.” similar to the crowd in the text below, is diverse, unique and personal for each of us, and “it” is making the decision difficult for you to put forth the effort to get to Jesus when in fact, that is where you will find hope, help, and healing. With Jesus, you will find intervention in the normal course of events, incredible miracles that turn darkness into day, experience your sadness overshadowed by gladness, and come away better as opposed to being in a bad way. With Jesus, you will find direction, and Divine power that can change your present condition and your future circumstances.
The thing is that you have to “C” your way through “it”, through whatever is crowding your way, and blocking your spiritual progress, and stalling your climb toward maturity. In the text below, there were four men that found a way to get a friend to Jesus. In your life there are four “C”s, all friends, that will carry you through and enable you to demonstrate a sense of urgency to depend on Christ, regardless of your present situation.
Let’s put a name on the “C”s that will help you “C” your way through “it.” Commitment is a must! Canceling out the noise of the world is necessary! Concentration is necessary; focusing your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, Calling out to the Lord who is willing and able to aid you, and yes, He will hear your faintest cry and answer ny and by. He will carry you through. Come on now1 You know that from the past! So, let your past impact your present and then let your present change your future. Read the text below and pray for conquering faith and compelling effort so that you can “C” your way through your personal “it.” Love you! Be blessed!
“When Jesus came back to Capernaum a few days later, it was heard that He was at home. And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer space, not even near the door; and He was speaking the word to them. And some people came, bringing to Him a man who was paralyzed, carried by four men. And when they were unable to get to Him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above Him; and after digging an opening, they let down the pallet on which the paralyzed man was lying. And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” But some of the scribes were sitting there and thinking it over in their hearts, “Why does this man speak that way? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins except God alone?” Immediately Jesus, aware in His spirit that they were thinking that way within themselves, said to them, “Why are you thinking about these things in your hearts? Which is easier, to say to the paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven’; or to say, ‘Get up, and pick up your pallet and walk’? But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the paralyzed man, “I say to you, get up, pick up your pallet, and go home.”And he got up and immediately picked up the pallet and went out in the sight of everyone, so that they were all amazed and were glorifying God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!” (Mark 2:1-12 NASB)
Committed to the climb,
