As it relates to a right now perspective, how I feel at the moment, I would like to find out, discover, that mankind all across the world had chosen to live in such a way that they actually, truthfully, respectfully treat other like they would like to be treated, and find out that their actions indeed reflect these words contained in a childhood church song, “Red, yellow, black, or white, they are precious in His sight,” recognizing that Jesus loves all the children of the world. And by children, I am speaking of humanity in general, at every chronological step along the aging process ladder. In the near future, I would like to find out that the key principles of love, forgiveness, and quick reconciliation are practiced universally.
Looking ahead, just a little bit further, I would like to find out that the lost have become found, the blind have gained sight, that rough roads have been smoothed, the downtrodden have been set free, and those held in captive politically, socially, psychologically, and culturally have been released. More relevant to me personally, I would like to find out that all my children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren have found their way to the church.
In the future that I know I will see, being one who has accepted Christ and therefore shall experience life after my days of living on this earth are over; I will see all God’s children getting together in heaven, and as the songwriter says, “Oh, what a time that will be.” And listen, I will really like finding my loved ones and holding a family reunion, attended by all my kinfolk that were called home to the celestial shores of glory before me.
I posed a question in the title. I attempted to answer it sufficiently, and I pray that it will have some impact on those who read these words. Before I close though, let me challenge you to focus on what I would like to see today. I would like to see more people adhering to the closing verse below. Have a great day! Reader, friend, be blessed!
“But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also. (Matthew 6:33 The Amplified Bible)
Committed to the climb,
