FINDING & BRINGING

“The next day John was there again with two of his disciples. When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, “Look, the Lamb of God!” When the two disciples heard him say this, they followed Jesus. Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, “What do you want?” They said, “Rabbi” (which means “Teacher”), “where are you staying?” “Come,” he replied, “and you will see.” So they went and saw where he was staying, and they spent that day with him. It was about four in the afternoon. Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus. The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have found the Messiah” (that is, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus.” (John 1:35-42 NIV)

I am sending this out early, very early on this blessed Sunday morning! Therefore, you still have time to be like Andrew! Andrew found his brother Simon. As the case was with Andrew, you still have time to find someone you love and tell them about Jesus. You still have time to find someone in your family home, your family tree, your familiar friends, or your friends on social media who have not come to Jesus! Find them while it is early, in fact, very early on Sunday morning! And after you find them, bring them to Jesus.

While I am sending this out on Sunday, the finding and bringing should continue throughout every day of the week. Afterall, the Lord is depending on you. Look at His words in the closing verse. Be blessed!

Committed to the climb,

Mark L. King
