In the beginning God (Elohim) created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1 The Amplified Bible)
The headline of an article in the internet included these enticing words in the title, “Navigating Through a Creator-Driven World!” Of course, my curiosity kicked in immediately. Pleasantly surprised initially, I prematurely concluded that the article was an indication that someone had finally came to their senses about our Sovereign God, Elohim, the Creator of the World!
I thought, wrongly, that the article would be overflowing with theological truths reinforcing that if people would subject their lives to the Sovereign Creator’s leading, the world be a better place! Guess what? I was wrong. My speculation and anticipation, quickly departed from my being as I glanced through the article. You see, the article focused on the evolving definition and methods of building brands in today’s landscape. Was I disappointed? To some degree, yes, for it was nothing related to the sovereignty of our Heavenly Father.
The title was provoking and it achieved its purpose, piercing the interest of readers to explore the content of the article. That was okay, because some good came out of it, in my opinion. For I turned my disappointment with my finding into an appointment with my writing desk where I could prepare this meditation, a composition with content that will answer how to navigate through a Creator-Driven world from believer’s perspective. I did not have to resort to a lot of research, and I did not have to devote time to any data collection. Nothing was required, except to refer to the scriptures.
You have read the opening verse, but make sure you read and meditate the closing verse below. I’m pretty sure that when you do, you will come to this conclusion: When we put God first; when we make pleasing Him first; when we live by His principles first, when we don’t put anything or anyone above Him, when we manage, as a first priority, every transaction, reaction, interaction, action, and communication, navigating through this Creator-Driven world will be much easier. I every space and place you go, as you navigate as just mentioned, others will benefit too.
It’s Saturday and I am going to stop now, but don’t forget to be in the assembly of the saints tomorrow. Yes! Be in attendance and be attentive! “He that has ears, let Him hear!” Be blessed!
“God spoke all these words: I am God, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of a life of slavery. No other gods, only me. No carved gods of any size, shape, or form of anything whatever, whether of things that fly or walk or swim. Don’t bow down to them and don’t serve them because I am God, your God, and I’m a most jealous God, punishing the children for any sins their parents pass on to them to the third, and yes, even to the fourth generation of those who hate me. But I’m unswervingly loyal to the thousands who love me and keep my commandments.” (Genesis 20:1-6 The Message Bible)
