Wednesday’s meditation was entitled, “Now You Have A Chance.” Well, this morning I am going to exemplify that saying, “Don’t just do as I say, but do as I do.” In other words, while I have a chance, I want to send you these words of comfort, all taken from the Scriptures. Maybe one of them will be just right for you today. Be encouraged, my friend! I’m taking that chance! Be blessed!
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1 NIV)
“The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. He is my refuge, my savior, the one who saves me from violence. I called on the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and he saved me from my enemies. (2 Samuel 22:2-4 NLT)

There are too many times that the Father has shown grace and mercy upon me and any situation with which I may have been dealing. The blessing is that I never forget the goodness and mercy shown to me. If the Lord puts an opportunity before me to bless someone in tangible or untangible ways, I have been able to act on them. I do take the chance.
