Have you ever called a company, organization, or agency, and after hearing the variety of recorded options you pushed the optional number to speak to an actual person in order to get help with a problem? I know I have. Recently I did that, exactly! I wanted to talk with someone to get assistance. I was informed by an automated voice that I was the third caller and that someone would be with me in 10 minutes. Normally, I would have just hung up, but I really needed help. I waited 10 minutes, and no answer. Frustrate, I waited more than a half-hour more, long enough to hear the recorded music be repeatedly played, so much so that I learned the instrumental song that was playing. Eventually, I just gave up and hung up. Disgusted and discourage, I will never call that helpline again!
Thank God that there is a helpline that we can call and be assured that we are heard immediately. I might have to wait for an answer, but there is an incomparable peace gained by just knowing that I was heard. So, let me recommend this helpline to you, where the Person who hears you is a very present help. Do you want to know how to access that particular helpline? Well, you probably know, but if you do or you don’t read the directions below. Be either reminded or referred right now. Have a terrific Thursday! Be blessed!
“I will lift up my eyes to the hills [of Jerusalem]—from where shall my help come?
My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber [briefly] nor sleep [soundly]. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your life. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in [everything that you do] from this time forth and forever.” (Psalm 121 The Amplified Bible)
Committed to the climb,

I have done just that—called a helpline when the automated message indicated it would be a five-minute wait. That five minutes turned into thirty. That’s not the way with our Father. He starts the call immediately. As you stated, our response may not come right away. Yet you were heard with the utmost attention. He is my very present help.
Dr. G! Thank you for reading, reflecting, and responding. Keep depending on our very present help! Be blessed!
