“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV)
Mercifully and patiently He waited for me.
To come to my senses, as He would want it to be!
He truly looked past my faults, my failures, and He showed me such favor.
He is not like anyone I know, for they would have counted me out forever.
All my journeys through the secret valley passages of sin that I went through.
All the things in which I got in that were not right to do.
Oh those were the times I did not deny God was the one and only God all by Himself,
But those were the times that I was living my life, like I was leading myself!
I’m so glad that one day I found my purpose,
So glad I learned how to make life choices not so ambiguous!
Yes, I am a beneficiary of His goodness and His great love,
Don’t know where I would be if the whole time, He was not watching me from above!
I’m so glad He gave me chance after chance after chance to change,
So glad He led me to the source, His word, to help me, my life to re-arrange!
Isn’t God good! “Of course,” that is what I will say!
He is the One who gave me another opportunity, to do His will, today; do it His way!
Now at this point in the prose, you are asking, “Is this a poem about writer, yours truly, or am I getting personal, speaking of you?”
Well, you have to make that call; you decide, but either way let us live this week saying, “Praise is what I do!”
Just a little something different my friend to start your week! Hope it made you God conscious! Be blessed!
“But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted.” (I Peter 2:9-10 MSG)
Still committed to the climb,
