“Fathers, don’t frustrate your children with no-win scenarios. Take them by the hand and lead them in the way of the Master.” (Ephesians 6:4 The Message Bible)
(Serious Sisters: Please read this letter, even though it is for fathers. And know that you can help by forwarding this to some men who are not in the church or who have drifted away from the church. Thank you!)
Dear Sir:
The world has enough men who are daddies, but what the world needs now are fathers. I’m talking about fathers who live out their roles as described in the scriptures above and below.
The strategy, or more appropriately stated, “the better way,” to prevent present and future generations from being swayed in a downward direction by declining societal norms, the drowning flood of disinformation on social media platforms, and the demonstrated sub-par standards that are modeled by peers who do not know the Lord; the better way is to respond in obedience to your responsibilities, found in the word of God as it relates to bringing up your children. And out of love, my brother, I must tell you that you cannot carry out your responsibilities of a father if you yourself do not try your best to live the way of the Master, Jesus. No way! The “do what I say and not what I do” mindset never works!
Daddies become fathers and help stop the decline of morality in our communities, cities, and nation! Ensure that your children are equipped with wisdom from the word of God so that they can handle real-life in general, including all types of relationships, and in spite of the repeated work of Satan who tempts our children to choose wrong over right.
Let’s bring back godliness in the place of worldliness. Love you! Be blessed!
“And you must think constantly about these commandments I am giving you today. You must teach them to your children and talk about them when you are at home or out for a walk; at bedtime and the first thing in the morning.” (Deuteronomy 6:6-7 The Living Bible)
Committed to the climb,
