If you have ever had a medical condition where you were referred to a specialist and were given a designated time and place to be for help with your condition, you kept that appointment. Right?
I’ll keep it short today. I just want to refer you to a specialist, the best-ever, for an appointment today. The appointment is at a designated place called the local, bible teaching and bible preaching church. You will keep that appointment, right?
Go see the Great Physician! Why? Since no believer has reached full maturity or has attained perfection; since we have failings along the way even as a people of faith, we ALL need to see Him so that He can treat our spiritual condition. While we do not have the sin that leads to death, we all sin and fall short of the glory of God at times. This referral comes with guarantee: You will feel better! Your failings will be less frequent! Your shortcomings will be very few. Don’t you just love those guarantees!
You see, this Great Physician, He has just what you specifically need, and he can cure all our sin-sick diseases! Enjoy your visit with the “Doctor who never lost a patient.” Rejoice this morning as you get ready to reach your hands toward heaven in praise and receive a word sent by God. Let me stop right her because don’t want to make you late for church! Smile! Anticipate! Be blessed!
