“And all the assembly said, “Amen!” And they praised the Lord. Then the people acted in accordance with this promise.” (Nehemiah 5:13b NASB)
Every once and awhile I get a response to a meditation that I feel is worthy of sharing. Yesterday afternoon I received one of those response to Tuesday’s meditation that was about more “we” time. The reader wrote these words, “Amen! We need more “we” time. We devote our minds to focusing on free time, tee time, party time, my time, bedtime, movie time, game time and all other kind of time. But you are right! We need more “we” time and I am going to commit to improving my prayer life, my “we” time.”
My reply to the reader’s response was similar to his, simply quite shorter, but I surely agreed with the reader’s words by saying, “Amen!” What do you say? Are you going to be with the assembly that not only says, “Amen,” but one who also follows through? Have a great Wednesday! Be blessed!
“…pray without ceasing” (I Thessalonians 5:17 NASB)
Still committed to the climb,
