AN END OF THE WEEK ORIENTATION SESSION!

“I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains?  No, my strength comes from God, who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.  He won’t let you stumble, your Guardian God won’t fall asleep.  Not on your life!  Israel’s Guardian will never doze or sleep.  God’s your Guardian, right at your side to protect you—Shielding you from sunstroke, sheltering you from moonstroke.  God guards you from every evil, he guards your very lifeHe guards you when you leave and when you return, he guards you now, he guards you always.” (Psalm 121 The Message Bible)

The Personnel/HR Department usually conducts orientation on the first of the week.  Today, we are going to flip the switch and conduct and orientation session at the end of the week; on this Saturday.  I will not take time to go through the whole handbook, although every word of it is profitable for God’s people.  I will just give an excerpt that applies to all God’s people.  Don’t think about Personnel, just take this orientation personal, and after you do, progressively let your voice be raised higher and higher as you praise God for all the selected benefits from the handbook excerpt above.  You will see that they are in bold print, italicized, and underlined.

Now, knowing that you cannot praise Him and thank Him enough personally for all the benefits you enjoyed all the previous days of this very week, continue praising Him and thanking Him at the start of a new week, Sunday, tomorrow, when you go to worship with the rest of the saints at your local church!  Somebody will be there who needs only the encouragement that you can provide!  Don’t let them down!  Be blessed!

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” (Psalm 100:4 The Message Bible)

Still committed to the climb,

Mark L. King
