“ANALYTICS VS. AMAZING GRACE”

“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” (Romans 3:23 NLT)

It’s Saturday morning and I am so proud of you, already thinking about worshipping the Lord tomorrow!  I am proud, pleased, and a pumped up by a particular type of gladness is flooding my soul right now!

What you are about to read should reinforce your plans for this holiday weekend.  However, first, note that no holiday weekend overrides the Lord’s Day, nor does any holiday absolve us from the need to worship the Almighty God we serve.  Now, with that thought in your mind, read on.

In the business world and the world of sports, analytics, the systematic computational analysis of data or statistics, is used to make great decisions.  The information compiled from a systematic analysis of data or statistics is used to produce or at least pursue some positive, profitable results and to pre-empt losing.  Does analytics work when it comes to salvation?  Let’s see.  An analytical look at the statistics, taken from the Scriptures, say that ALL far short of the glory of God.  It would be easy to conclude, based on statistics or analytics, that ALL are doomed to hell.  Afterall, the Scriptures say, “The wages of sin is death.”  From an analytical perspective, that would seem to be correct.  And if correct, we all would be in serious trouble!  But something is missing; something that can produce a positive outcome, profitable result, and a winning, victorious end to our seasons called “life.”  What’s missing?  Amazing grace is missing!  You have to add that in your personal calculation, and when you do, the outcome will be sealed by your faith in Jesus Christ.  The Scriptures say, For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die.  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”  Did you see the analyticsThat love reveals God’s amazing grace, and if one turns to Him through Christ, the analytics don’t quite work out.  What does one have to do to make this applicable to his or her life?  What does one have to say?  Read the closing verse and you will know.  Be as mighty as the bold evangelist and share this good news with someone you know who needs a way to escape the predictability of the analytics when it comes to sin!  Have a great Saturday!  It’s a long weekend for most, but keep the end in mind and you will not mind working as servant of the Lord.  Get busy and spread the good news.  I’ll talk with you in the morning!  Be blessed!

“But what does it say?  “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:8-10 NKJV)

Still committed to the climb,
