BE DIFFERENT

“If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.” (John 15:18-19 NLT)

This is your Monday Short meditation, a sequel to the December 9th mediation entitled “Be Yourself.”  So, today, here is another “Be” recommendation.  Call it a succinct sequel if you so desire.

One of my neighbors who has gone home to be with the Lord pastored a church on the southside of Indianapolis. With each sermon, he gave the congregation a passcode to help them remember the message he delivered on any given Sunday.

Borrowing from his innovative technique to help his members remember the sent word that God had delivered through him I want to give you a passcode to remember and use as a reminder that will help you reveal yourself to the world as a child of God.  Your passcode is the title, “Be Different.”

Read the opening and closing verses. React as recommended. Reveal how different you are all throughout the week.  What is the passcode?  (Just checking.)  Be blessed!

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a [special] people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” (I Peter 2:9 The Amplified Bible)

Committed to the climb,
