“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV)
To get the best counsel, available at any time of day or night, keep referring to the directions in the opening verse. Is there a bill with this incomparable counsel, the best you could ever find? No! There is no really surprising bill (regardless of how many times you seek the Lord’s counsel. There is no retainer fee, not really, but responding to the counsel by faith is advised. There is no reminder notices that will hit your mailbox or your inbox, reminding you of a payment is due.
“Bill? No! Bless? Yes!” When you depend on God, He provides you with counsel that you can hide in your heart, enabling you to do right and not wrong, to obey and not sin, and to bring about a smile on the face of God, as opposed to a sad expression.
Now, stop and think of all the wise counsel that the Lord has given you to save you from the power of sin and steer you away from places where the influence of the ungodly is uncompromising. Stop and think of all the wise counsel from the Lord that helped you endure as opposed to explode with anxiety during those times when you were going through this or dealing with that. Stop and think of how the Lord’s wise counsel helped you avoid mistakes, mess-ups, mix-ups, and misconduct. Stop and think how His counsel directed you away form darkness and moved you to be determined, dedicate to staying in the light.
He did all that, provided you with all that counsel, and He did it for you! I know that I’m right about it! Listen! If you were to receive a bill, the length of it would be too much to itemize and really, and it would be an impossible task. But like I said, “Bill? No!” “Bless? Yes!”
Stay cognitive, conscious, considerate of the fact that you should bless the Lord who has given you counsel! Be like the Psalmist who says, “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth!” Go ahead and praise Him with your voice right now, loud enough so someone can hear you! “Bill? No! Bless! Yes!”
Have a great day and take advantage of blessing the Lord in the presence of the saints on Sunday! Oh, yes, be there and bless Him! Be blessed!
“I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; my heart also instructs me in the night seasons.” (Psalmist 16:7 NKJV)
