CLEAN OUT THE JUNK FILES!

“Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.  Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized.  Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.” (Philippians 4:8-9 The Message Bible)

I checked my phone this morning and noticed that I had close to 600 emails that had went directly to “Junk” on my cellphone.  I had not cleaned it out for a few days.  It took a few minutes before I could get all the junk email deleted.  In defense of my failure to clean out the junk files. I did not notice anything that prompted me to delete these them.  Perhaps I should have looked further than just the new mail and the send mail.  I know that’s what you are saying.  Okay, now I will be more diligent in doing so.

To learn more about junk files, I did a little research.   What I found out that “junk” it can take up memory, slow down your phone from operating it as it should, and sometimes even crash.  I’ll really have to put forth the effort to do better in cleaning out those messages that go directly to “Junk.”

In this Monday Short meditation, let me just remind you to be on alert to keep the “Junk” messages sent by Satan, the secular world, or self, deleted regularly from your mind.  And if you still have any that are already stored their unbeknown to you or unconsciously, and those stored consciously, make a call to “Tech Help,” and ask the Lord to help you remove the junk that is occupying space reserved for what is important for you to live holy and to live right.  You don’t want any junk to take up your memory.  Keep your memory focused on the Lord; His direct messages, His doings (past, present, and future), and on His delegation of the things that He wants you to do!  You don’t want any junk causing you to lag in terms of doing what is right.  Furthermore, you do not want any junk causing you to crash and end up in a sinful situation!  Take care of all that junk!  Clean out the junk files!  Think about it!  Better yet, do something about it, starting today!  Be blessed!

“You cannot reach for anything new if your hands are still full of yesterday’s junk.” (Quote from Louise Smith)

Still committed to the climb,
