“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV)
One of the regular readers of Mark Writes sent a response to Friday’s meditation, the last day of the month, March 31, 2022. My immediate reaction was to say “Amen!” And then I was moved to publish her message, giving my friend an opportunity to impact a multitude of God’s children. And when I say “children,” be ye not confused (smile)! I’m sharing with you some wise words from a woman of faith who has watched over more than one generation in her family, by sharing the wisdom you are about to read. I was convicted that her words should be taken further and serve as a way of watching over multiple generations, yours included, on this earth that look for solid advice for living. The Bible verse that she concluded her message with is an add-on that one cannot simply pass over, and one you should surely pass on to your followers on Facebook or, your selected number of friends on some other social media vehicle, and your family. The short, succinct message, sent with “Blessings” as a salutation:
“’Do your best, God will do the rest.’” “I tell my Children and Grandchildren this all the time.”
Take care of business today! Read her words one more time! “Do your best, God will do the rest.” Meditate on them and let them register in your heart! Make some noise and say this aloud, in agreement, “Won’t He do it?” Move through this Saturday doing what you must do, but be sure to ready yourselves for worship tomorrow and make it to church, on time! Give God your best in terms of your attentiveness, and He will do the rest. He will change you! He will fix you! He will pick you up! He will mold you and shape you! He will direct you! He will order your steps! He will give unto you a special word, specifically for you! He will motivate you! He will do more than you can expect! Be blessed!
“Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 The Message Bible)
Still committed to the climb,
