Shout praises to the Lord! He is good to us, and his love never fails. Everyone the Lord has rescued from trouble should praise him.” (Psalm 107:1-2 Contemporary English Translation)
If you are wondering what you can do today, don’t fret! Don’t fuss within yourself in the inner recesses of your mind! I know you thought I was going to tell you to make sure you attend church today physically, in person, and if that’s not truly possible, virtually. However being in the assembly of the saints is a given expectation by now, right? So , let me tell you what you can do both in the sanctuary and outside of your place of worship.
As you recall all the goodness and mercy that not only followed you, but it favored you in so many ways, even if you just start thinking about the Lord’s grace and mercy showing up in your life last week, give thanks to the Lord for all He has done. Refer to the Psalmist’s words, written under the inspiration of God in Psalm 107: 1-2; just a few verses from the Message Translation. (Note: The same verses are in the opening and closing verses to reinforce what you can do!) Read all the versions on this page that are provided for you, and respond accordingly! As you have heard said, “And this is the word of God.” Praise God! Thank God! Yes, give thanks to the Lord because He is good…so good! And, He has been so good to YOU! Be blessed!
Oh, thank God—he’s so good!
His love never runs out.
All of you set free by God, tell the world!
Tell how he freed you from oppression.
“’Give thanks to the Lord, because he is good; his love is eternal!’ Repeat these words in praise to the Lord, all you whom he has saved. He has rescued you from your enemies.” (Psalm 107: 1-2 Good News Translation)
Still committed to the climb,
