You have reveled in your recent successes, celebrated your climb upward on your career journey, and the health status in your home has you saying, “All is well.” These positive things happened, and you may have credited it to good fortune, great effort, and gain from maintaining a healthy diet. You might have even gone so far as to, as they say, “pat yourself on the back” or you may have found it comforting to say, “Look what I did.!” Prayer to the true and living, Almighty God was not proclaimed to have anything to do with your achievements. That’s sad, so let me tell you something.
Just because you didn’t pray does not mean somebody else wasn’t praying for your success, petitioning God for your protection, and pleading to the Lord to grant you safety, a saving from the streets and stress of everyday life, and for salvation. Listen! Somebody was praying for you! You might have had a praying momma or a praying grandmother. You might have benefitted from the prayers of the saints who persistently approached the throne of our gracious God on your behalf. Your siblings probably prayed for you because they don’t want you to miss out on the reunion in heaven when your days on earth are fulfilled. Dorothy Norwood got it right when she expressed it this way, “Somebody, prayed for me, had me on their mind, took the time to pray for me.” Now, don’t just think, “I’m so glad they prayed for me.” No! You have to go further than that, my friend. Know that God hears the intercessory prayers of individuals that He call His children! God sees potential in you, potential that is greater than your secular and worldly progress and proud achievements. He has left you here for a purpose and, I have to say it, because others were praying for you. Just because you didn’t pray…
Give God the praise for all He has done for you! Fall on your knees or stand as the ancients did when they prayed and call on the Lord. Pray that He will change your innermost parts so that you can be an outward blessing to others who need to be saved from the penalty of sin, the power of sin, and the presence of sin.
If you read today’s meditation, I’m pretty sure that you are a praying person. So, copy this meditation and forward it to someone who does not recognize that it is because of our gracious and merciful God that we live, move, and have our being. Send a copy of this to someone who got lost in the worldly noise so they perchance may turn to heaven and have a little talk with the Lord. Don’t worry about starting something. Look at it in terms of stopping something. Have a great day and do a great work! Be blessed!
“I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the Lord; they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope. When you call me and come and pray to me, I will listen to you.” (Jeremiah 29:11-12 Common English Bible)

Hey Pastor King😊
Each and everyday, we receive a specific and purposeful message from your ministry.
For the past few days, each message resonates me like a divine intervention (as they should).
I love it when I sense that God is up to something and help us navigate no matter the season in our life. Rejoice together, endure together.
Let us shout with gladness, “I’m hopeful!”. Thank you all for your prayers!🙏💖🌈
