KUDOS TO THE CHOIR DIRECTOR!

“Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].” (Hebrews 11:1 The Amplified Bible)

In the Sunday meditation I challenged each reader, including you, to catch somebody doing something right. Then yesterday, I invited readers to “add some more “un” statements of your own regarding your confidence in God.” Putting the Sunday challenge into practice, especially since we should lead by example, regardless if we have a title or not and we indeed belong to the camp of the righteous; putting the Sunday challenge into practice, I want to send out kudos to our church’s Choir Director. While I am sure many readers responded to the invitation to add some more “un” statements, she actually sent some to me in a response. God bless her!

Yesterday, I pointed to how David used some clearly understood “Un” statements in Psalm 27, statements regarding his trust in God. And I added one by Niecy, another regular reader who meditates on the word during Bible Study and via Mark Writes. So, I listed the following yesterday: “Unmoving, Unfastened, Untouched, and Unshaken.” All of those descriptions were amazing, astonishing, and accurate concerning David’s trust, faith, and confidence in God. Sounded complete but wait!  There are some addendums to those “Un” descriptions.

The Choir Director responded, bless her soul, with these additional “Un” statements. She responded that we must have “Untested, Unbroken, Undying, Unstoppable, Unfaltering FAITH!” I really like the “untested” description, because there are times when we face new “tests” on this Christian journey., but we make it through by keeping the faith, ensuring that our faith is “Untouched.”

Today’s meditation does not only give kudos to the Choir Director, but it also keeps us our minds keenly focused on possessing the faith that David had in God. May the excerpt from Paul’s writings be said about you, every single day.  Have a great day!  Be blessed!

“…I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:7 KJV)

Committed to the climb,
