“O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” (Psalm 34:8 KJV)
After opening a bottle of Zero Sugar Snapple I noticed some writing on the inside of the bottle cap. It said, “Children have more taste buds than adults.” Wanting to verify if this was factual about the small sensory organs, I did a search on the computer to see if experts were in agreement with the writing on the inside of the juice bottle.
I found out that most children have 10,000 taste buds and in comparison, adults have 5,000 taste buds. This made me think about the verse above, and I want to appeal to you to have childlike taste buds when it comes to your relationship with God. Let your child come out! Taste all the things that allow you to conclude that the Lord is good. And use those same taste buds to recognize the bitterness that comes from the world, and to discern between the Divine and the deceitful.
