“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:1-2 King James Version)
This is perhaps my best “Short Monday” effort. Believe it or not though, a lot of thought and prayer went into what the Lord wanted me to share with you. His words are found in the Scriptures above and below, the same passage from two different translations of the Bible.
What I have to share with you is a short, succinct, brief, concise, caret of information that will prove to be of considerable value as you go through this week. Here are some Monday morning words, sandwiched between the word of God above and the word of God below: Remember it’s all in your presentation. Have a great start to the beginning of the work week. Note: If you say you don’t have to go to work, I beg to differ. We must do the work that the Lord expects us to do as His ambassadors, His representatives, His disciples, and His witnesses. Love you! Read the both translations of Romans 12:1-2 again! Be blessed!
“So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.” (Romans 12:1-2 The Message Bible)
Still committed to the climb,
