NOT EXEMPT

“Shall we actually accept good from God but not accept adversity?” (Job 2:10b)

This is your “Monday Short” meditation, brief but beneficial.  Benefit from the words of Job and the words of the Apostle Paul this week if you are faced with trials, tests, or temptations; calamity or circumstances that bring about conscious loss, or changes that can be classified as unexpected disaster or unseen disturbances in your life.  If you find today’s words not applicable to you this week, perhaps someone you know will benefit from them or you can simply store them up for future use.  Today’s words: “You are not exempt.”  We all will face bad days, bad news days, and bad loss days.  But be like Job and keep turning back to God.  Be like Paul and learn about being content in the midst of your predicaments and problems.  Short meditation?  Yes!  Strong meaning!  Yes!  Be blessed!

“Not that I speak from need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.  I know how to get along with little, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.” (Luke 9:23-27 The Message Bible)

Still committed to the climb,
