NOT ODD! JUST GOD!

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law, he meditates day and night.” (Psalm 1:1-2 ESV)

I know!  Yes, I used the passage above just a couple of days ago. But repetition has it value when it comes to remembering what the scriptures say and we are simultaneously reminded to by transformed by them. So, I make no apology for referring to them again. Remember the ancient saying: “To hear is to forget. To see is to remember. To do is to understand.”

You are not like everybody else! You are different!  You stand out in a crowd! Light enters the room when you walk through the entryway! And goodness and mercy are all around you!  My friend, you are peculiar! So, when you refuse to do certain things, decline to dive into all that the worldly crowd does, tear yourself from sinful trends, or when you deny any influence that tries to disrupt your disciple type ways, and disregard the demand that you blend in with the unrighteous, people will call you an odd. In response, you just retort, respond, reply, “Not odd! Just God!”

This is your mantra for life! Own it! Offer up the new you, the “you” that came into being when Christ came into your life! You are not odd, it is just God in you, over you, ordering your steps, and outlining your principles for outstanding godly living.  “Not odd! Just God!”  Have a great Tuesday!  Be who you are, a child of the living God, one who fits the description found in the closing verse below. Be blessed!

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light…” (I Peter 2:9 KJV)

Committed to the climb,
