POSSIBLE VERSUS IMPOSSIBLE

“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13 NASB)

While sitting in a metal chair, waiting for a takeout order at a restaurant that I had never stopped at before, I  looked at all the décor on the wall. There were pictures of customers, product promotional posters, and a plethora of philosophical signs.

One of the many signs said, “The difference between possible and impossible was determination.” I supposed that this was a motivational saying intended to influence readers of the sign to pursue achievements in the secular world, school, or society in general. The writer’s purpose revealed a good and caring heart.

But as I sat in solitude with not one other customer in the seating area, in my mind I changed the wording on the aforementioned sign so that it would be applicable from a motivational and a spiritual perspective. The altered sign in my thoughts said, “The difference between possible and impossible is God.”

Have a terrific Tuesday. Be blessed!

“And looking at them, Jesus said to them, ‘With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’” (Matthew 19:26 NASB)

Committed to the climb,

  1. Thank you for sharing, Nothing is impossible the very word says I’m possible I still have work to do for the Kingdom. Don’t let what seems impossible stop me. Trust in God because all things are possible with God.. Have Great day

  2. This is a great way to start our day. We can do all things when we seek God and follow the path He has set out for us.

    1. Isn’t that so true. The things we thought we could never do can be done with Christ, and not only done, but done to the glory of God! Thanks for your response!
