I sat in a quiet place, only for a moment, and these are the thoughts that rambled through my mind.
A person can be young in years, but grey in wisdom if he/she studies the scriptures.
It is not necessary to have earthly wealth to be considered well-off, but you do need Jesus to benefit from the riches of heaven!
Happiness is hidden at times underneath layers of life’s happenings. On the other hand, joy is constantly present and presented in the presence of others when your joy is in the Lord.
There are books throughout the house, some to be read and some really for décor. But there is only one that is profitable and is filled with Divine truth. As children we used to sing, “The B-I-B-L-E, yes that’s the book for me!”
Believers are never helpless, for we have a very present help in times of trouble. Praise the Lord!
Hope outweighs hard times on the scales of life.
Most people have had ups and downs in life, but for believers, in spite of failings at times, when you look at our trend line, the trajectory is upward.
Rest not on a high plateau, keep climbing toward the top of the mountain! You are more than a conqueror!
Well, these were some of my thoughts that occurred at a quiet time, in a quiet place. Hopefully you will find something quite applicable. I also hope I have got you thinking and meditating this morning. Be blessed!
“May the Lord bless you and take care of you! May the Lord be kind and gracious to you! May the Lord look on you with favor and give you peace!” (Numbers 6:24 Good News Translation)

“May the Lord bless you and take care of you! May the Lord be kind and gracious to you! May the Lord look on you with favor and give you peace!” (Numbers 6:24 Good News Translation) I can truly say that the Lord is working with me and providing for me in all of these areas. It is good to know and to acknowledge the goodness of the Lord.
