THANK HIM THAT IT ALL WORKS OUT!

“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28 NASB)

My fellow believer, on this Monday morning, a few days before “Thanksgiving,” thank God for the certainty expressed in the verse above.  For us and for our loved ones, it all works out for good.  “All” includes the trials and tests that made us tougher spiritually.  “All” includes those times where we thought we knew best, but we found out over time that God is the One who knows best.

Thank God for delivering us from our deviance, those times we deviated and sinned, but to our greater delight, the Lord brought us to our senses, and we learned how to do better in trusting in the Lord.  Oh, we have lost loved ones.  Yes there are the dearly departed that will be so missed at this year’s Thanksgiving gatherings, but thank God that our loved ones knew Jesus as their Lord and Savior!  Thank God that they had confessed Christ and now, their souls are resting; no more struggling, no longer suffering, and no more existing in sadness.  Thank God that their souls are with the Lord

Thank God that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus!  Be certain of that truth!  It does not work that way for unbelievers, but it works out for believers, which includes you.  Look what the Apostle Paul wrote below, some familiar verses, and then reflect on all of those things you have been through that coincide with what the Apostle listed.  Then, think about how it worked out in one way or another for good!  Then, give Him thanks!

Have a great Monday my friend!  Let me change what I just said.  Have a Thankful Monday my dear friend!  Be blessed!

“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39 NKJV)

Still committed to the climb,

Mark L. King
