THE BATS OUT OF HADES

Let me meddle and minister to all that must make their way to a made appointment or maybe their place of employment! I’ll start by restating the title in an acceptable, not profane way and end with a reminder that relates to making your presence known among the assembly of the saints tomorrow.

The restating: Don’t be one of “The Bats Out Of Hades” as you drive on the streets and throughfares! A lot of road rage and reckless driving that causes relatively minor and really major accidents takes place because of these “Bats.” Keep reading! I’m just expanding my ministerial role into what some would call the mundane avenues of life. Look! I want people to live eternally, but I also want them to live a full life in this earthly realm! You don’t have to say “Amen,” I will!  Amen!

If people would just leave with enough time to be on time or preferably early, the number of people driving like “Bats Out Of Hades” would decrease. As one of the sisters in my church would say, “Ain’t that the truth!” You’ve seen the “Bats” endangering other drivers, haven’t you? Well maybe the following quotes will help.

In a “grammarhow” posting, it says, and I quote, “The phrase “Early is on time, on time is late, and late is unacceptable,” insinuates that one should never be late for a scheduled meeting or appointment. It even goes so far as to imply that being “on time” for the event should actually be thought of as arriving late.

The inspired writer in Ecclesiastes says, “There’s an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth” (Ecclesiastes 3:1 The Message Bible).

Perhaps this Bible verse will make the people who do not manage their time properly avoid being one of “The Bats Out Of Hades,” “Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others (Philippians 2:4 New King James Version)

How do I desire readers to respond to this? Well, let me borrow some words from the Master, “He that has ears, let him hear.” Yes, not just hear with the physical functioning of your ears, but with the faithful opening of your heart that will be changed on the inside and ensure enhanced changes externally, on the outside.

As I mentioned in the opening paragraph, which revealed my purpose today, I said I would give you a reminder that relates to your presence being made known in the assembly of the saints tomorrow. So, if necessary, sit your alarm clock now so you can show up in your place of worship on time. (Go back and review the “grammarhow” quote!) Listen! While I could give you countless examples from the word of God regarding time, I’ll just remind you that the Lord is coming back one day. Guess what? He will be right on time and there will be no delay! Have a great weekend! No “Bats” okay! Be blessed!

For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay. (Hebrews 10:37 The Amplified Bible)

Committed to the climb,
