If you were to ask news reporters or people who produce television shows to name the most influential people of the world, your would get a list of multiple persons ranging from the rich and famous to the political figure that is working for the right cause, or perhaps someone would dare name people who influence our lives in a positive way; peers with moral values, professional educators who imparted to us the value of continuing learning, past pedagogies who mastered the Sunday School classrooms, and perhaps preachers who stayed with their charge to preaches the word of God to the masses, in season and out of season.
You may not find your name on the lists referred to in the above paragraph, but believe me, you should be on that list! Based on the two familiar Scriptures that I have provided you with this Saturday morning, I beseech you to live this day realizing and reacting to the fact that you are a child of the King. Acquiesce to this admonition every where on God’s earth you go today. Agree to live in a humble way, like you are the most influential person in the world! Accelerate positive change in the spaces and places and faces around you! Read the verses above and below again! Now, go be who you are, influential for the sake of the kingdom. Think of yourself as the most influential person in every interaction, every incident that arises, and every imparted sentence that flows from your mouth! Be blessed!
