“For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:16 Amplified Bible)
I was in a store looking for a orange book for décor purposes, not really for digging into biblical principles. However, after going through the fictional section, I came to the inspirational section. Of course, I stopped and glanced at the titles while looking for a book with an orange color to fill empty spot just waiting to be filled. I did not find one, but a book with a blue cover caught my eye. The title on the spine of the book said, “The True Life.” I did not notice the author’s name, and I did not even pull it off the shelf to look at the table of contents. “Why didn’t I? -” you might ask. Well, since you might have asked, let me satisfy your curiosity.
You see, my mind just went to the opening and closing verses. Read them and you will see that I did not pull the book off the shelf and read 200 pages in an effort to learn about “The True Life.” I already knew about “The True Life.” I’m sure you would have done the same thing that I did, right? Because you too already know about “The True Life.” So, rejoice about it and give thanks to God for true life! Have a great Thursday. Be blessed!
“The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” (Psalm 119:6-8 Contemporary English Version)
