THERE ARE SOME IMPORTANT THINGS TO TELL EVERYONE IN YOUR HOUSE THIS MORNING!

“The woman left her water jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone, “Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did!  Could he possibly be the Messiah?” (John 4:28-29 NLT)

I know it’s early on Sunday morning, but I just have to share five things with you based on my personal experience.  I believe they are all worth sharing, but especially the last one, due to the fact that there are some time parameters involved.  I’ll make it quick!

  1. You are not late getting up when your eyes cause you to think it’s 11:35 am. and it’s really 4:55 a.m.  Relax!  Stay calm when you find out what’s the real time.
  • If you want to make coffee, plug in the coffeemaker and not the toaster that is right next to the coffee maker.
  • If you want to flatten the position on your raised elevated bed before making it up, use the control connected to the bed.  Why? Because no matter how many times you tap your touch controlled lamp, the bed is not flattening.  It’s not budging!
  • Make sure the toilet in the bathroom that you use is the one with the self-closing mechanism to avoid slamming the toilet seat down “by accident” on in the bathroom that has a standard toilet seat.
  • Finally!  Here we go now!  Wake up everybody before 7:00 a.m.  Be like the Samaritan woman Jesus ministered to at the well and drop everything else to let them know it’s time to get ready for church and experience Jesus!  Be like Phillip who told Nathaniel, “Come and see!”

Smile!  Laugh at all of the above except number five!  Enjoy service!  Be blessed!

Still committed to the climb,

Mark L. King
