Here is your Monday Short meditation! As human beings, we often spend time regretting the things we have done that were disappointing to God because of the mistakes, the many wrong choice, the multiple errant steps that we have made.
Satan rejoices when he can keep us focusing on our regrets. He likes to get us tied up in our regrets. Well, I suggest that if and when you are tied up in your regrets, you rebuke the devil. Yes, rebuke him and repress your thinking on your regrets and then, resume rising up in righteous living. Recall the verses below, probably etched in your memory, so that you can avoid being tied up by your regrets. Live freed up, my friend! Live, with the shackles of regrets broken, my friend! Think of God’s resounding forgiveness! Renew your walk down the narrow path of righteousness. Resolve to life holy! Rejoice in God’s sure mercy! Really commit yourself to the climb! Reach upward, forward, and make perfect progress! Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith! Have a great week! Be blessed!
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (I John 1:9 NASB)
“As far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our sins from us.” (Psalm 103:12 Good News Translation)
Committed to the climb,
