“What a God! His road stretches straight and smooth. Every God-direction is road-tested.
Everyone who runs toward Him makes it.” (Psalm 18:30 The Message Bible)
Pastor M.R. King used an analogy in Sunday School a couple of weeks ago to make a profitable point to participants in the Adult Sunday School Class. He referred to how professional painter today often use paint guns as opposed to brushes. We were informed how the painter using the gun has to make sure that when filling the paint gun, it has to be poured in through a filter to keep any type of debris that will cause the paint gun to malfunction.
Brothers and sisters, our minds need to follow the same step that the professional painters use in filling the paint gun. As we fill our minds with information, instructions, and influential words from various sources, we have to run them through a filter. Our filter is the word of God. If we do that, we can keep all the debris, destructive, damaging, and demonic thoughts from entering our minds and causing malfunction in our lives.
Therefore, once again, I admonish you to study the word of God consistently and regularly. Regardless of the canvas or surface on which your life happenings are painted, they will come out better, beautiful, and beloved by others and the Lord are God. Stay in the word, my friend! Be blessed!
“We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5 The Amplified Bible)
