“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” (Isaiah 26:3 NKJV)
The Labor Day Weekend is upon us. Let me ask you a personal question. What’s on your mind this weekend? Fun, family reunions, or folly? What’s on your mind? Games, going out, or getting away? What’s on your mind? Problems, peril, predicaments, or the pursuit of happiness? What’s on your mind? Faithfulness or failings? What’s on your mind? Are you thinking about the Monday holiday, skipping over the Sunday holy day as if we are not to be in the assembly of the saints? What’s on your mind?
Keeping it short, let me give you an unsolicited suggestion of what should be on your mind, regardless of where you go or what will be doing. My suggestion? Read below and you will see. Be blessed!
“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” (Philippians 4:8 NLT)
