“God keeps track of the decent folk; what they do won’t soon be forgotten.
In hard times, they’ll hold their heads high; when the shelves are bare, they’ll be full.” (Psalm 37:18-19 The Message Bible)
This is your Monday Short Meditation. Rejoice! Yes, rejoice, but read on!
Mother J. King and Mother F. Jamison shared the same perspective, expressed in wise words gained through their walk with God. Their perspective is particularly applicable when all seems to be going wrong. Their strong faith in our God, One who is able to make the sun shine through darkness and to replace sorrow with joy, to circumvent defeat with victory; their strong faith in our God enabled them to stand on the same statement that I will share in a moment. The statement is strong advice that we, children of God, need and can benefit from when necessary, on our journey through life.
Mother King and Mother Jamison were in agreement, letting believers who faced any problem, minor or major, see what’s right when all goes wrong. Their perspective was presented in a four-word statement, “Everything will be alright!” Keep that in mind, my friend! Be blessed!
“And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.” (Romans 8:28 Amplified Bible)
