This is your weekly Sunday Share meditation. As always, I recommend that you listen to Pastor M.R. King’s sermons. This week’s message was special in that it was specifically related to Palm Sunday. It not only prepared us for this coming Sunday, Resurrection Morning, but it also called our attention to what happens “When Praise Misses the Point.” You can hear this message in its entirety on the Salt Of The Earth.(Indianapolis) Facebook page. I know you will visit the site, but nevertheless, I want to share with you, some profitable lessons for all of us.
First, praise God on Sunday, but still praise Him on Friday! Don’t get so hung up in the celebration, so much so that you forget to get the revelation from the preached word! The crowd of our times, known as the secular world, will try to change you from your expressed commitment to surrender to Jesus. Keep that from happening by making the following lyrics evident by your lifestyle, “All to Jesus I surrender! All to Him I freely give! I will ever love and trust Him, in His presence daily live!”

Listening to Pastor Marcus’ sermon from this past Sunday is a must for me. Often times I miss something while in church listening to the preached word. We are blessed to be able to go back and listen to the recorded service. Thanks be to God that He has given us a choice to do the right thing, or not. I always want to do the right thing. That’s why it is so important to surrender my all to Jesus.
All of us miss something. It is a normal happening regarding how much we can retain. Good to take notes. But as you pointed out, it is a special opportunity we have to go back and here the recorded service. Thanks for your response. Be blessed!
